New England and Cleveland did have a bright spot in an otherwise horrific draft, while Cincinnati's Brandon Thompson was the best value in this year's draft. And Pittsburgh and Detroit did well to get linemen who many projected would go in the top 10 at 24 and 23, respectively.

Irvin and Wilson have been highlighted in earlier posts. As for the Jaguars, they made Bryan Anger the first punter to go that high since BJ Sander in 2004. Jacksonville certainly has plenty of needs -- and although they were 26th in the NFL in FootballOutsiders' special teams rankings, they were middle of the pack when it came to punting. Adding to the Jags' ignominy? 7th rounder Jeris Pendleton tied for the worst grade of any player drafted.
